Meet the owner of Upward Gymnastics Academy, a seasoned gymnast and accomplished entrepreneur who has made a significant impact in the world of sports and education. Having attended Western Michigan University as a Bronco scholarship gymnast, the owner honed her skills and passion for gymnastics while earning a degree in Education. With a solid foundation in both fields, they set out to create and own one of the largest gymnastics multi-sport academies in Florida.

Over the years, the owner has expanded their reach by opening four satellite gymnastics programs in Pasco and Pinellas counties, providing access to quality gymnastics training for children in the community. She has accomplished a Level 10 Judges USA Gymnastics rating. She has held a position on the Team Florida AAU board for over 20 years and remains the Team Florida Judges Coordinator.  Her dedication to the sport and commitment to education has been the driving force behind the success of Upward Gymnastics Academy; it is her passion to impact the gymnastics world and inspire young athletes everywhere.

Cindy Gwinn truly believes in the power of community and the importance of helping others. As the founder of Uncorked and Uncapped for the Cause from 2016-2018, she organized fundraising events that donated over $60,000.00 to the American Cancer Society and donated to local Pasco County cancer families. Her efforts have helped to provide much-needed support to those affected by cancer in the community. Cindy's commitment to making a difference does not stop there. She is also an active participant in Trinity's Relay for a Life event, where she first placed in the relay two years. Her dedication and hard work have significantly impacted the lives of many, and her passion for helping others inspires all who know her.

In addition to her passion for community involvement, Cindy Gwinn is a devoted mother to her two wonderful children, Brent and Crystal, whom she loves more than anything. When she is not busy making a difference in her community, she loves to spend time with her family and friends. Cindy has a variety of interests, including reading, motivating people to pursue their passions, and interacting with others. She has a particular fondness for children and takes great joy in watching them grow and learn. Cindy is also a proponent of successful habits and shares her knowledge and insights through her teachings. Her thirst for knowledge is insatiable, and she relishes any opportunity to learn new things. Overall, Cindy Gwinn is a remarkable person with a heart of gold, and her goal to helping others and making the world a better place is truly admirable.
